"Pop!"

As the bubbling sound echoed, Ye Da saw a bubble shimmering with iridescent light flying toward the Magma Crab.

At the very moment the bubble flew in, Ye Da heard Zhang Ya shout, "Lord, get out of the way!"

"You’ve got to be kidding me!"

Hearing Zhang Ya’s warning, Ye Da immediately realized what she intended to do. He hurriedly released his grip on the axe handle, rolled to the side, and moved well out of the bubble's blast radius. The moment the bubble touched the Magma Crab, it detonated!

"BOOM!"

The soap bubble looked harmless enough, but its destructive power was terrifying. It was no different from the explosion of a hand grenade!

The blast wave not only sent Ye Da sliding several meters away but also dispersed much of the mist surrounding the Magma Crab. Ye Da finally caught a clear look at the creature: it was a massive crab, roughly the size of a small truck. Including its legs, it stood nearly two and a half meters tall. Its body was the color of a boiled crab, while its shell and legs featured patches of grayish-green, perfect for camouflage.

When the giant crab's pincers were hit by the bubble, they suffered no damage at all. Instead, its two stalk-like eyes, which hung in front of its mouth like lanterns, swiveled around to fixate on Ye Da. It seemed to conclude that Ye Da was the culprit behind the explosion!

After its eyes darted around twice, the Magma Crab moved its eight legs, turned, and scurried rapidly toward Ye Da. Simultaneously, it waved its massive pincers, clearly intending to snap Ye Da’s head off with a single strike.

"Damn it!"

Ye Da performed a swift roll, scrambled to his feet, and narrowly evaded the crab's first wave of attacks. Unfortunately, his battle-axe had become a plaything the crab had grown tired of and was now tossed aside, far out of reach.

As for using a psionic arrow, the distance was too short. He was so close that even if he managed to manifest a bow, he would likely be killed before he could even form an arrow.

Just as Ye Da prepared to engage the creature head-on with his Stone Fist, he suddenly heard Chu Ping’s voice coming from beneath the ground.

It sounded muffled, but Ye Da’s eyes lit up! He realized that Chu Ping must have already dug a trap for this giant crab to step into. Since he could fight as a team, why should he bear the burden alone?

"Got it!"

Ye Da responded and immediately sprinted to the left.

He counted his steps as he ran. "Five... seven... nine..."

Just as he reached the ninth step, he heard Chu Ping’s warning again: "Lord, jump!"

"Whoosh!"

Ye Da didn't even have time to reply; he leaped forward, clearing a patch of ground that looked slightly collapsed. As he jumped, the giant crab followed, waving its massive pincers, clearly infuriated by the elusive little pest before it.

"Click!"

"Click, click!"

The sound of the crab’s pincers snapping open and shut echoed relentlessly behind Ye Da. He could even feel the sharp gusts of wind from the strikes, as if they were trying to tear him to pieces, causing his adrenaline to surge and making his jump half a meter longer than usual.

"CRASH!"

The moment Ye Da crossed the collapsed ground, he heard a thunderous sound behind him, like a cave-in. He quickly looked back and saw the Magma Crab with half its body sunk into the pit Chu Ping had dug.

However, this monster was incredibly agile with its eight legs. Within moments of falling in, it began raising its four remaining free legs, driving them deep into the ground to anchor itself. Then, using its two pincers like hydraulic jacks, it began to pull its massive body out of the pit.

"Can't let it get out!"

That was Ye Da’s first thought. Chu Ping’s thoughts were in perfect sync; realizing the crab was too large to be fully contained by the initial pit, he continued using his abilities to dig secondary holes around the perimeter.

Before the Magma Crab could even stabilize its four legs in the ground, they sank into the earth one after another.

"Click!"

"Click, click!"

The Magma Crab seemed increasingly annoyed by the situation, waving its pincers wildly at unseen enemies. Ye Da couldn't get close, so he took this opportunity to manifest a psionic arrow.

"Zip!"

To be safe, Ye Da didn't aim for the crab’s heavily armored shell; instead, he targeted the most vulnerable part of its body: the joints of its legs. Having seen Zhang Ya’s bubble attack fail, Ye Da was certain this creature possessed extremely high defense. Killing it with a single arrow was clearly impossible, so he aimed for the weakest points to see if he could break through.

"Snap!"

"Click, click!"

A sharp sound, like a bone fracturing, echoed through the air. Ye Da watched as the Magma Crab tilted to one side. Three of its legs had snapped in one go!

Success!

Ye Da’s eyes shone. "Zhang Ya, attack its leg joints!"

"Understood!" Zhang Ya replied.

Before long, Ye Da saw a barrage of colorful bubbles flying toward the Magma Crab. The creature was clearly wary of these bubbles; it tried to use its two pincers and remaining legs to escape, but Ye Da wouldn't give it the chance.

"Zip!"

Another psionic arrow flew out, piercing a hole through the joint of its large pincer, though it didn't snap it off. Such a tough shell! And this was a psionic arrow! To ensure maximum impact, Ye Da had specifically chosen the blade-type psionic arrow, which had the highest piercing power. He hadn't expected the crab’s defense to be this monstrous. Ye Da suspected this creature was at least a peak Tier 3 entity, with defense surpassing even Tier 4 beasts.

"Boom!"

Although Ye Da’s attack didn't sever the pincer, it was enough to stop the crab from using it to support its heavy shell, causing it to tumble back into the pit.

Zhang Ya’s attack followed immediately.

"Boom!"

"Boom, boom!"

"Boom, boom..."

Zhang Ya was clever. After her initial failed attack, she realized that for a monster with such high defense, her bubbles were likely no more than a gentle bath. She didn't try to show off; instead, she concentrated all her bubbles onto the joint of a single leg.

If one bubble couldn't break it, she used two, three, or even ten in rapid succession!
