“Who has medicine for wounds? I have meat and water—let’s talk details!”
After searching for a long time without success, Ye Da had no choice but to post this message in the trading market.
Yet, after waiting for quite a while, no one offered any medicine.
Instead, as soon as people saw him online, a flurry of messages poured in—all asking if he had any meat to sell!
“Boss, do you still have any meat for sale? I finally saved up enough materials to buy two skewers from you—please, I’m begging for two!”
“Bear-Slayer, you’re finally online! I thought something happened to you. I’ve gathered enough low-quality wood; can you sell me some meat skewers?”
“It’s supposed to get colder tonight. Can I buy back the down jacket? I caught two rabbits; can we trade? One rabbit for the jacket—will you do it?”
…
Ye Da had no time to reply to any of these messages—Little Ash was still bleeding.
But he could not find anything useful in the trading market!
“Woof!”
Little White ran over, licked Ye Da’s hand, then hurried to the wooden chest where the food was kept, emitting a pleading whimper.
Ye Da looked up at Little White and said, “Be good, don’t make trouble. Dad is trying to find a way to save Little Ash.”
Upon hearing this, Little White tilted its head in thought for a moment, then suddenly barked.
“Woof woof!”
After barking at the wooden chest, Little White darted back to Little Ash and began licking its wound.
Ye Da had no idea what it was trying to express.
“No licking!” Ye Da scooped Little White up and scolded with a headache, “Little Ash is already pitiful enough. If you mess with its wound, it’ll hurt even more!”
“Are you hungry?” Ye Da wondered aloud, suspecting that hunger might be the issue.
He tossed some bear innards to Little White.
“Woof!”
However…

The moment Ye Da tossed the innards, Little White barked in excitement and snatched up the bear’s large intestine.
Just as Ye Da thought it was about to eat, he watched as Little White dragged the bear intestine over to Little Ash.
Because it was so small, dragging it took considerable effort.
A long trail was left across the ground. Little Ash, seeing what Little White had brought, gazed at it with bright, expectant eyes.
“Weren’t you the one who wanted to eat?” Ye Da asked in surprise. “You brought this for Little Ash? You want to give the food to Little Ash?”
“Woof!” Little White barked excitedly, as if to confirm Ye Da’s guess.
With that bark, the bear intestine slipped from its mouth, landing near Little Ash.
Little Ash sniffed at it, but didn’t eat right away. Instead, it lifted its head and fixed its bright, beady eyes on Ye Da, as if seeking permission.
Ye Da gently rubbed Little Ash’s head and said, “Go ahead and eat.”
“It’s a good thing you still have an appetite.”
“Woof…”
Little Ash let out a quiet whimper, not daring to be too loud—perhaps afraid it would worsen the pain. Yet, it still wanted to respond to Ye Da.
“Buying wound medicine—high price! Will trade for bear meat, snake meat, cola, and various materials, or for a top-grade steel axe (Special Attribute: S-class Hundred-Strikes Kill).”
Ye Da’s heart ached for Little Ash as he raised the offered price yet again.
This was already the best he could offer, especially the top-grade steel axe.
Even with his Lucky Ring, Ye Da couldn’t guarantee that the next time he upgraded an axe, he’d get one with an attribute—let alone such a rare S-class attribute.
His analysis glasses had revealed that equipment attributes ranged from lowest to highest: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, and so on.
A steel axe with an S-class attribute could easily sell for tens of thousands in the early stages.
Even in this survival game, it should fetch hundreds or even thousands of materials. Yet Ye Da was willing to trade it for a single bottle of healing medicine.
Whoever had the medicine would surely be unable to resist such an offer.
Indeed…

Heavy rewards bring forth brave souls.
Hao Jian: “I have medicine.”
Just as Ye Da was losing hope, a player named Hao Jian replied to his request: “But I want not just your S-class steel axe, but also five units of bear meat, five units of snake meat, five bottles of water, and five bottles of cola.”
…
Ye Da read the outrageous demand and wanted to retort, You must be dreaming!
But for the sake of Little Ash, he swallowed his anger and replied politely, “Brother, isn’t this a bit greedy?”
“Greedy? Am I?” Hao Jian sent a dog-face emoji. “I see you’re looking for wound medicine—must be because you’re injured. This medicine could very well save your life. Are these mere items not worth a life?”
“Or do you think your life is worthless?”
“It’s not me who’s hurt, it’s my pet. I’m seeking medicine for it,” Ye Da explained. “Honestly, the value of an S-class steel axe far exceeds that of a bottle of healing medicine.”
“If you only want food and water, I’m willing to trade.”
“But to want the axe, plus ten units of food and ten bottles of water—that’s just too much. I can’t agree to that.”
Hao Jian: “A pet? Hahaha, you don’t even bother to lie properly. We’re all stuck here—who could possibly have brought a pet?”
Click!
Without another word, Ye Da sent a photo of the wolf pup.
Hao Jian was silenced mid-sentence. Someone really did bring a pet here?
Ye Da: “Well? I’m not lying, am I?”
Hao Jian: “You’re not lying, but what does that have to do with me? I only have one bottle of wound medicine. If I sell it to you, I’ll have none left for myself. It’s a lifesaver. Trading for your items would be a loss for me!”
Ye Da: “No room for negotiation?”
Hao Jian: “Negotiate if you want to pay even more!”
Ye Da: …
